Details
The chlorine-containing disinfectant is widely used but unstable. The content of active chlorine in disinfectant is the key to make sure the effect of chlorine-containing disinfectant. It is difficult to use traditional method (chemical titration) on the spot. The active chlorine of disinfectant test plate developed by our company is suitable for detecting the concentration of active chlorine in various disinfectants. And it is very convenient and rapid. Immerge the test plate in the disinfectant and then can determine the content of active chlorine by comparing with colorimetric card. It is applied to the supervision and detection for health and epidemic prevention department.
The detecting range is 0-2000mg/kg.

1. Using method and results
1.1 Sample preparation:
Solid sample: take 1g test sample，add 100mL of distilled water or pure water to dissolve them.
Liquid sample: take the sample directly without any treatment.
1.2 Put the test plate into the test sample, and take it out immediately. Then shake off the redundant disinfectant.
1.3 Observe the color in a minute, and get the semi quantitative result by comparing with the standard colorimetric card.

Suitable for rapid detection of the content of active chlorine in all kinds of chlorine-containing disinfectant.

50mg/kg

4. Matters need attention
4.1 This is rapid detection method. Those samples which are unqualified should be sent to lab to make further determination by standard method.
4.2 If the concentration of the chlorine in samples is out of the detecting range, please dilute the sample for retest, and multiply the result by corresponding dilution multiple.

5. Preservation condition
Keep them at room temperature in sealed, dark, dried and ventilated condition. The period of validity is one year.
